Some general problems relating to Adoption:
When my adoptive father adopted me, at the time of adoption, he was a widower. His wife inherited the property of her father. Can I claim to the property belonging to my father’s predeceased wife?
The status of your father’s predeceased wife is not an adoptive mother at the time of adoption. So you cannot claim any rights over the property of your father’s predeceased wife.
I am going to adopt an 18 years old boy. Whether I can adopt an adult? If so, whether it will create serious problems in future?
Yes, you can adopt an adult but you have to obtain the consent of the boy.
I have adopted a child, and after a period of two years, the natural mother of my adopted child wants to see the child. I fear that if she interferes the child may be disturbed. What can I do in such a situation?
Once the natural parent has given up their child in adoption, they lose their right. You can tell the child’s biological mother that you will not permit her to see the child at any cost. If the mother has filed any petition and obtained the permission of the court for seeing the child during the adoption process, you have to allow her to see the child.
